回答: by the way, if you want to cite the statistical method 由 xj 于 2005-8-21, 18:37:43:

I was reading G*power again. seemed to me it is very good for power analysis.I used it before for simple t-test but it has the capability also for multivariate ANOVA design after I reread it.

The only thing is that there is no manual and the description is pretty simple. It is free and was recommended by some institutions for students also.PASS is used by almost everyone with a good reputation. Hell, I have to spend time to read it and practice on it.

How can you be so involved in this boring and seldom used stat. It is a nightmare to me to face it. I quickly forget what is about after using it. Just like the programming, you don't do it often, you forget the syntax of the language.

I have a stastitian to help me but he is far away. I cannot make it clear either over the phone or by e-mail.

The determination of sampling size is a pain in the butt and full of BS. If you have enough data at hand, you don't have to propose the experiment; just to write up the paper, right?

Anyway, thanks for the kind help.
