And there is only one China. Combining these together the only logic conclusion should be that Taiwan is part of China. Yet USA says it should protact Taiwan with military power. This inconsistancy in USA's Taiwan policy is the most dangerous part of the whole issue.
If you think China's reaction is illogical and mad, then it is USA's policy that should be blamed first.
A self-conflict international policy can well be a fuse of was, the history has proved it more than ones, yet seems no policy maker understand it. And the recent debate over Sino-USA nuclear strategy provides another example.
