回答: GPS is likely used. 由 cornbug 于 2005-1-19, 23:21:10:

...go look up something called "Tetrahedral Inertial Platforms (TIP)", no gyro used. Two linear accelerometers side-by-side can can measure linear motion on one axis, plus rotation around a perpendicular axis. TIP uses four arranged on a tetrahedral and a good algorithm to get all the linear and rotational information.

GPS is vulnarable to jamming, disruption, and satellite visibility. That's why "inertial" systems are still a good option.
