for recon. sat. Acurracy is as important, if not more, than resolution. Acurracy for sat imaging is determined by the realiability, the circular error with 90% confidency which tells how accurate the location shown in the image matchs the actual location. Looking on earth surface from space is like peeking into a big fish tank, the light bent and causes the image displace. Atmospheric disturbency makes this displacement random, and lower the accurracy of the image.
