To my knowledge, this is 1st open report of Chinese military killing foreigners since ending war vs Vietnam.surely must have been a few secret killings in middle Asia or south east Asia, but clear record is a 1st.

This is sad, losing lives over no man land is totally maniac. Unfortunately we don,t know the details what triggered the change of peaceful status quo. Some saying is India building roads, a few years ago china did similar from resulting in tense confrontations but luckily no one died.

Again like the American police thing, deescalation is top list to do. Two sides need to sit down how to maintain status quo. Forget about border issue, it won,t be solved for a long time. Just don,t let more people die there please.
