i didn't catch the exact #, of course we all know x and y are quite big , and one could add despite we have a vacine for flu and we promote it enormously.

it's a shame experts didn't come out and say this clearly: why every year we watch so many die on flu without any care (many offered free vaccien without taking it), now we scare us like this. i think experts have sth to blame too. they give confusing and conflicitng messages, if every nation treats chinese visitors (and chinese treat hubei) like now how could people not get paranoid?

i have a doubt: the 2003 SARS outbreak really would have been more damaging suppose we all did nothing except using basic common sense?
