【明報專訊】今屆美加墨世界盃增至48隊及多達104場賽事，國際足協（FIFA）昨宣布，經過完成60場比賽，多達超過360萬名現場觀眾，刷新歷屆世盃入場人數紀錄；賽事仍有44場未統計或舉行，FIFA預計最終數字接近600萬人。舊紀錄同在美國主辦的1994年一屆，在64場賽事共有超過358萬人入場。
