涉及到怎么理解川普的原话:
引用:
"Thank you. It's true, and these are the best and the finest. When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. They're not sending you. They're not sending you. They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."

Here, "They" means people Mexico sends (illegal immigrants). "They're rapists" means illegal Mexican immigrants are rapists. Where is 断章取义? Adding a extremely weak disclaimer "and some, I assume, are good people." is just Trump's PC. He clearly meant that the majority of Mexican illegal immigrants are rapists.

If I received a bag of potatoes and said the following:

"He sent me a bag of potatoes. He wasn't sending his good potatoes. He's sending potatoes with lots of problems. They are rotten potatoes. And some, I assume, are good potatoes."

Am I saying the majority of potatoes rotten or not?
