check out the class law suit agian verizon on bluetooth. Verizon is one of the shameless blood-suckers among all u.s. wireless operators.
3G licence fee is rather complicated though, but in general, berkeley wolf is selling snake-oil compared to kchen. some of kchen's points are valid and the facts could be verified. That's sound a lot better than "I personally invovled with xxxx".
BTW: losing 1.5 billion is ok for verizon, since there are so many suckers being ripped off by verizon and they are ok with it.
