As an American, I advocate against supporting US based companies complicit (whether obliged or not) in violating a human right to privacy. By giving an economic disincentive to unjustified government collaboration, you can vote with your dollars and clicks at the very least.

The US can continue to run the internet into the ground, but that just means more power and control of it will shift over to other regions of the world. Keep screwing over our only industry, and soon we will only have retail and food-service jobs to turn to.
