The development of a new weapon is not exactly like a commercial product. Behind the the skunk work, the Pentagon has a effective process in strategic vision development, doctrine development, con-op, purchasing, test and verification. Even thought this does not garentte the success of every weapon program, it is still the best in the world. I don't see how Chinese military industry can come even close.
