I live in an area where we don't usually lock our doors when we go out. Maybe that is why I don't feel urgent to learn how to own/use gun for protection.

If I live in a place at high criminal rate, I probably will change my mind. But I will never want to go that kind of area. I will not let my kids go there too.

And I just simply disagree with you on gun-control issues.:)
