Our records show that Dr. Fang was invited by a group of FDA employees and addressed them on November 9, 2012, on the subject of “Current Food and Drug Safety Issues in China”. His informal lunch-time talk was one of the frequent educational events that are authorized by the agency and that serve to keep FDA employees informed about public health issues that are of interest to our agency.
