In no way do I feel you are Adam Lanza's mother. In fact, you are the opposite. You have more than done right and took steps and faced reality head-on and without denial. You did not keep lawfully acquired guns unsecured in your house knowing full well about your son's mental state. You did not take him to the gun range and teach him how to shoot. Most of all, your son is not in the headlines showing that he shot 27 innocent people, 20 of whom are children. You are what the mass shooters' mothers should have been and maybe just maybe we would not be having this forum. You are not Adam Lanza's mother.
