Thanks for your comments on how to choose a person to vote for downstairs. I agree partly. While I agree that the management skills are more important than political ideals, I cannot appreciate the understanding of complexity and nuances from a political leader. I think these are the qualities required for a staff member or a cabinet head. I found that for political leaders, claiming complexity and nuance usually lead to indecisiveness. That was why I didn’t like John Kerry in the last election. Many people said he was smart and sophisticated. But I found that when it comes to the question “what are you doing to do”, he either had no answer, or gave very naïve answers (such as holding a summit with France to solve Iraq problems). I especially hate those politicians who can talk all day without giving any information.
