The concepts of IQ was invented long time ago, but the 100 should be calculated once every period, with appropriate sampling methods to make it representative. I guess many IQ tests institution build some kind of "dynamic" database, and store every intakers crude score, so their definition of 100 and other scale (depends on standard deviation I believe) changed over time, though not dramatically.

But IQ is really nothing. Many Mensa members believe in something many forum members will laugh at.
