does mean you cannot be a victim as well. And it doesn't mean you cannot hope to abolish it.
For example, most of the people in China are both a beneficiary and a victim of corruption - they receive bribes, cheat the state and other people, and in the mean time, they pay bribes and are being cheated. But most of them still want to get rid of corruptions.
Of course, it all depends on how much a beneficiary and how much a victim you are. My sense is that KeDa feels it's more a victim now.
