Many of these farmers still have their own houses so they rent their appartments to young high tech workers in the area. The project is not as flashy as commercial ones people usually see, but it is clean and very well planned, a lot better than "worker's village". He told me the best part of his apartment is the natural environment. It is much quieter than downtown, the air is much cleaner and cooler(he claims in summer the temerature is 3-5 degree lower than downtown) and the tap water that doesn't come with smell.
