Here is the story:
I mv a directory as well as all its subdirs to my home dir using root. The directory is then owned by "nobody". How can I change the owner of this directory to myself? I was not able to su nobody, as it complains that nobody was an invalid id. Wihtout su nobody, it would not take my chown.
