It is based on the world record.

Y=AX^2+BX+C

X=log10(bodyweight/52)
Y=log10(weightlift/240)
A=-0.845716976
B=0.861857177
C=0.075202924

Here Y is the total weight lifted (including body weight I guess).

So statistically speaking, for an extremely trained man with 150kg weight, the maximum total weight is 471kg. so the person actually lift 321kg stuff taken out his weight.
