Dr. Qide Han, M.D., Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National
People’s Congress of China and President of Peking University Health Science
Center will be presenting a lecture on Friday, March 24th at 4:00pm in Hope
110, 315 Cedar Street. Dr. Han is a well-known pathophysiologist and
pharmacologist whose research has focused on molecular pharmacology in the
study of adrenoceptor subtypes. China is undergoing dramatic economic growth
which has challenged its healthcare system. Dr. Han plays a critical role in
the reform of China’s healthcare system. His lecture entitled “Healthcare
System Reform in China” will be insightful for the future of the Chinese
healthcare system.
