1100 students in Stanford who comes from families that make $45k or less. 1100 is about 5% of Standord's total student population, and $45k family income in my eye is close to average. THis is whay Stanford see a problem of "unser representing".
Now since the original post compare Stanford to BD and QH, I refute that students in these 2 schools who are from about average income family make up a lot more than 5% of total sudent population in these 2 schools. Therefore the problem Stanford is facing is not the same proble BD and QH have to face. Is that clear?
