IN some of his recent talks he has been consistently making cheap shots by publicly attacking the government just to gain popularity among the younger generation, who lack the experience of being economically rational. One example is his recent speech in QingHua university. It is full of crappy, simplistic, extreme, but sentimental views and assertions backed by no or very little fact. It clearly appears to me that Lang has some fundamental disagreement with the authority on economic reforms. BUt that's not likely the reason why he is banned. What got him into trouble is that, he is not merely challenging the policy, but the legitimacy of authority(by taking a role of "speaking for the people"). THis kind of behavior can not be tolerated.
