Chen is that a bad person at all, provided "其个人在汉芯公司的资本增值近70倍" is a mis-statement.
All the reporter has told people is:
1. Someone says Chen has made a mistake and this person refuses to reveal his identity. No detail of alleged mistake is discussed.
2. Chen started a business venture with investment almost all from himself. The venture later grows bigger and his ownership is greatly dilluted as more investors are involved.
Apparently this reporter and his employer are turning this inccident into a interactive reality show, and they are doing very well.
