Guadalcanal campaign was the decisive campaign which was the beginning of the end of Imperial Japanese force in Pacific. The reason as I said earlier, Japanese did pretty much what you has been preaching all along, and they could never recover from their lost of experienced solders, sailors and pilots. Those resource could not be replaced.
