History is full of accidents. It's too early to judge Bush . His legacy will mostly depend on the shapeup of the Mideast. Therefore it's crucial for him to win the war. Also the increase of troops in Mideast will increase government spending and hence will help the domestic economy. At this stage it makes a lot of sense to increase the troops in Iraq.

As to demos, they want to bring manufacturing jobs back to the US. C'mon. If ppl go with them, we'll see a lot more fictions between the US and China.
