Sorry that I get on top other postings.
Now, for a person living in the west, say U.S.,
1) he/she spends about 33% of a day in a non-democratic environment;
2) 33% n his/her way to work and back home, walking, watching TV, having meals;
3) 32% of time in the sleep, and perhaps 2% of a day having sex...
For a person living in China, working in a state owned and operated corporation, such as in the press that publishes "Freezing Point". It seems to me an employee enjoyes
1) spends 33% of his/her day in a democratic environment at workplace;
2) 33% of a day on commuting, walking, eating, shopping, playing and
3) 32% of a day in sleep and perhaps more than 2% of a day having sex if he/she is lucky.
So the difference that one experiences seems mostly from work place, which counts 33% of a person's day. So my conclusion is that Chinese in stated owned, operated units seem to enjoy mor democracy in their life time, but they still complain about the lack of democracy...
