Most religious groups (Christians and Islamic) have very remarkable records of involvement in anti-liberty campaign. Freedom of speech are, to a certain extend, to restrict their expansion.

They are certainly NOT venerable when:

1. They are big enough and yet still getting bigger

2. They have been successfully commercialised

And they are not liberal and even anti-liberty, when they try to reinforce their religious believe upon the general public. Once these groups get their way, non-believers like me, will soon loose our freedom of speech.

The general public is becoming increasingly venerable to groups of religious thugs.
