unlike Chinese banana, 鬼佬's banana looks shiny and bigger but only stays hard for a very little while. When it is ripe it becomes soft and sloppy and not a pleasant experience to eat it. Chinese banana stays hard much longer regardless it is ripe or not, even after it got a lot of 梅花点.
