But he claimed his protein's activity was to specifically kill some kind germs which is under debate now. Does this protein have other activities? Maybe. For exemple, to bind some other proteins. We can find clues from this protein's sequence. However, we can not assert that it is inactive if it does not bind to any other proteins.
