IOSN是联合国开发计划署的一个下属机构,旨在亚太地区推广开源自由软件、开放标准和开放内容。IOSN组织编写了一系列的自由开源软件的入门读物。这套读物以Creative Commons执照发布;也用GNU/FDL加入了wikibooks.org。
这套读物是推广开源和自由软件的优秀资料,对社会应用、教育和政策支持有重要意义。
我们现在征求志愿者来把制作这套资料的中文版,共同推进自由开源软件在中文世界的应用和发展。
这个项目的主页在http://rl.rockiestech.com/node/179,也是我们《开源文集》项目的一部分。《开源文集》同时收入其它重要的开源相关的文章。我们的开放图书项目均采用wiki式的协作共创模式,欢迎大家参加,共同推动文化进步。

The International Open Source Network (IOSN) is a branch of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), promoting the adoption of free/open source software, open standards, and open content for sustainable human development in the Asia-Pacific region.

IOSN led the producing of a series of publications on FOSS and public applications. They will a good resource for promoting FOSS in China too. So we are trying to generate Chinese versions of these publications here. Anyone is welcome to join in. And please help us promote this effort.
