Beyond that range, it won't work anymore (just like
exercise 12 hours a day won't buy you immortality).
It works if 民主的国家 are western EU countries
plus a few others like S Korea. Beyond that,
the equation lose its meaning.
Just like if you and I bothg like football,
we can become friends based upon that common
ground. If too many people like football,
then it will never be a ground for anything.
The Hamas example should be connsidered
a normal case instead of exeptional case.
If a democratic Israel is not expected
to yield to Palestine, the why should
a democratic Palestine be expected
to yield to Israel? The same thing
for future democratic Iran.
