So 中科院 no longer has a tenure system. If 孙飞博士 qualifies, why does he have to wait?
Secondly, a hiring relationship involves two partners.孙飞 could easily come to US for a postdoc. So if he is really good and they want him to stay they will have to do something extra for him.
The example didn't make sense as well. If Dr. Mary H. Schweitzer didn't think she were treated fairly she could certainly try to get a tenured position somewhere else.
冰后期 expects everyone just to take what they can take from their employer. Very old thinking indeed.
