One thing which many people may not know is that the article mentioned 莫洛托夫手雷, if I am not mistaken, it should be Molotov cocktail which itself was an incedniary device. It was not used in the US army and in fact, it was a choice of many guerrillas and of course Russian armies. Molotov grenade is also known as patrol bomb. The US incendiary bomb was napalm based, but those were used by air bombing. Infantry used thermite based, and its primary usage was to destroy artiary, not against group troops. The US army used WP (white Phosphorus) shells and grenades against enemies infantries, however, the article didn't mention anything that matched WP shelling, like smoke, chocking smell, tear or even death caused by exposure of WP.
The description of incendiary device explosion sounded more like molotov grenade to me.
