1870：The Methodist Episcopal Church, which had established Genesee College
in Lima, New York, but was unhappy with its remote location, passes a resolution
at its state convention to establish a college in Syracuse. The resolution
becomes a reality on March 24, when Syracuse University is chartered.

1) 可能有分校在其它地方;
2) 原来在其它地方(可能是分校)，后迁到新地方。 这也是分校的变种;
3) 最后在同一地方办新大学，或一校变俩校，这还是以上的变种。
