I didn't really follow that thread, however, as for "文明地进行自杀," I am not sure how. It seems like there are thousands of way to 文明地进行自杀: for Chinese, if someone keeps eating the best Chinese food you can get daily, eventaully this person may develope health problem like high blood pressure or etc, and may die because of it. Does this count as 文明地进行自杀? Or, smoke cigerattes, drink liqor... all these are considered being civilized.
