it will become a MAJORITY voice against some minority. Even the majority has no power of a political institution, it can still be the tyranny of majority--for example, prevailing racial discrimation in a overwhelmingly will make non-white having a very uncomfortable life (accumulation of thousand small things). Why simply let them alone to fight for their freedom? They do fight, but can not win because they are minority.

This is why public education for young people sometimes commited self-censor, because education play an important role in nuturing the idea of the next generation. Sometimes you might find it neccessary for the government to limit the speech right of educators in the job.

I am just sometime feel uncomfortable with your quite extreme Anglo-American skeptism on government. Government is indeed the biggest possibility of the biggest evil. But too obssesed in government, as a literarian will think, overlook there might be many other places that the tyranny of the majority will do. For example, on the special issue, government is the the opposite of a prevailing majority but is right, in the term of limiting the majority's freedom of action a bit (like avoid hiring gays as you like) to give huge freedom to some minority (the equal opportunity of employment of gays)--majority elect it simply the government's "package" of policies is the same side of the majority.
