Redone it by the life table provided.
Mr.He's number's number (2 yrs) is larger perhaps because that he simply 2.7%*70, which is assuming this extra prob of die is SUDDENLY falling into a guy who is aged 70 (who's life expectency >70 which is the life expectency of the whole population). Suppose that guy is expected to live to 75, the life expectency lost is 75-2, but you can not use 70-2.
