Thought non native speakers, especially native Putonghua speakers have a better sense of grammar. Also readproof is sometime subjective. The wording and style depends largely what background the YN is. A YN next door had a degree in comparative English literature, but her writing was consider bullshit by technical people. Likewise, the stuff written by some technical people is too plainish and sometimes doesn't even hit the point. Getting a technical writer might help a lot in this case.
