看了下摘要。He used approximated MLE function to get the true thing and stated it performed very well. I am curious how fast it converges, and how to detect it is converged. Further, how to evaluate the approximate MLE function is the right approximate function?
It seems to me there are lots of equations. A quick flip through (really quick) find something about local asymptotic normal theory to proof that a series of functions will converge to the true function. Interesting.
