Early this year, the head of Church of England, the Archibishop of Cantebury said global warming is a big moral issue – he blamed comsumersim, particularly the increasing number of cars and air planes and increasing comsumption of fosil fuel. Then people noticed that a) the Anglican Church is financially independent, b) the church does benifite hugely from its investments in big oil companies. That would mean, acroding to the Archbishop, the church is directly making money from savage the earth with green house gases.
