In particular, when studying sex orientation, you run into a problem that there is no animal model for this stuff.

I agree with you that this stuff is nothing earthshaking. Everybody knows the fact, doesn't it?

But I think this study is interesting because it provides evidence that some specific places in human brain that relates to sex orientation.

If we can do something in mouse's brain and make it homosexual, this would be great. Now we can examine the molecular mechanism.
